Coca-Cola Scholars 

AMOUNT:  Up to $20,000



Applicants must be:

  • Current high school (or home-schooled) seniors attending school in the United States (or select DoD schools);

  • U.S. Citizens; U.S. Nationals; U.S. Permanent Residents; Refugees; Asylees; Cuban-Haitian Entrants; or Humanitarian Parolees;

  • Anticipating completion of high school diploma at the time of application;

  • Planning to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution;

  • Carrying a minimum 3.00 GPA at the end of their junior year of high school.


Ron Brown Scholar Program 

AMOUNT: $10,000 annually for four years

AVAILABILITY: minimum of 10 per year


ELIGIBILITY: African-American high school seniors; academic excellence; leadership; community service; financial need.


VFW Voice of Democracy - Deadline:  November 1, 2014

AMOUNT:  Up to $30,000; Awards start at the POST level

NCWIT Award for Aspirations in Computing 

AMOUNT:  National award:

AAFEPA Scholarships (Leo Brown Scholarship and Joan Buckley Scholarship) -


AMOUNT:  $1,500

  • Persons eligible for the Leo Brown Scholarship are senior students presently enrolled in a public school or students currently enrolled as freshmen in an accredited college or university.  The student should be pursuing a degree in education.

  • Persons eligible for the Joan Buckley Scholarship are senior students presently enrolled in a public school or students currently enrolled as freshmen in an accredited college or university.  The student may be pursuing a degree in any area of their interest.  


Prudential Spirit of Community - Deadline:  To counselor by November 4, 2014

AMOUNT:  $1000 and a trip to DC

ELIGIBILITY:  Significant volunteer / community service (Grades 5-12)


GE/Reagan Scholarship Program 

AMOUNT: $10,000 renewable for 4 years


ELIGIBILITY:  To be eligible for this award, applicants must:

  • demonstrate at school, at the workplace, and within the community the attributes of leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship;

  • demonstrate strong academic performance (minimum 3.0 grade point average/4.0 scale or equivalent);

  • demonstrate financial need;

  • be citizens of the United States of America;

  • be high school seniors attending high school in the United States, or any of the U.S. territories and commonwealths and graduating in winter 2014 or spring 2015.

  • plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study toward a bachelor’s degree at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States for the entire 2015-2016 academic year.


Dr. Pepper Tuition Giveaway Promotion and Contest 

AMOUNT: $2,500 - $100,000


ELIGIBILITY: Must be 18 years old and must make a video.


WACE National Co-op Scholarship Program  

AMOUNT:  195 merit scholarships totaling $4.7 million
